Jalicha Persad

BOARD MEMBER

Jalicha Persad is an associate at CPLS, P. A. She devotes her career to working for her fellow Virgin Islanders. 

Attorney Persad attended undergraduate school at Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia, and law school at the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. During the summer breaks, she had the opportunity to clerk with Judges in the Virgin Islands Federal Court and the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands, and during the last year of law school. Attorney Persad had the opportunity to work with the Virgin Islands Delegate to Congress as a speechwriter and researcher. After Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria ravaged the Virgin Islands in 2017, Attorney Persad assisted the Virgin Islands delegate to congress in obtaining federal monies to rebuild the Virgin Islands.

After graduating from the George Washington University Law School, Attorney Persad returned to the Virgin Islands to clerk for the Honorable Robert A. Molloy in the Virgin Islands Superior Court’s newly created Complex Litigation Division.
